How to Make a Paper Soda Jerk Hat

Soda jerks were popular from the the beginning of the 1900s into the 1950s. The soda jerk setup shop at a drugstore where he would dispense soda to customers, where he would have to jerk on the soda fountain arm to serve customers. The jerk motion of his arm led to the name soda jerks. The soda jerks were known for wearing cloth hats that carried the logo of the establishment the soda jerk worked for. Bring this iconic look to life with a soda jerk costume. The costume would not be complete without the hat. Make the hat from paper and create an original logo to decorate it with.
