Google is a favored search engine on the Internet that offers a way to make money from home. By simply posting ads to your existing blog or website, Google will pay you per ad click from visitors to your page. While this is not a career opportunity and simply a way to supplement income, Google ads posted to your page are a way to get your services made public. Not only do the ads pay but Google also helps generate traffic to your site.

Instructions

1. Visit Google AdSense's website. This is the name for Google's affiliate program where links and ads are posted to your page. You will be asked a series of questions regarding your site. Ensure to answer honestly.

2. Create an account with your name, email and contact information. Google requires this information for payment processing and tax reporting. Google AdSense allows two options for payment via an electronic fund transfer to your bank or via a bank draft (check). Google payments "are issued within 30 days after the end of the month in which your unpaid earnings reach $100.00."

3. Provide your site's domain and Web address to your Google AdSense account. This will automatically give the needed permissions for Google to provide ads on your site. You will be required to agree to all terms and conditions as well as Google's privacy notice and payment terms.

4. Enable Google AdSense on your blog or Web page. While some website services offer the option to enable this in your settings, others do not. You will be provided a code to insert into your Web design page in this case. Location of code posting depends on the Web design program you are using.

5. Attach links to various keywords in the body of your articles or notes. In your Web page design template, click the link tab and select the word or words you wish to add the link to. Paste the link to the URL box and click save.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not click on the Google ads on your website as this could disqualify you from having an AdSense account.
