How to Do Portraits in GIMP
Many people enjoy taking photos and displaying them for their friends and relatives. Photo portraits are a particular favorite. You may decide after taking a photo of someone that you would like to give it the appearance of a real painted portrait. Traditionally, this has required the help of a professional with expensive software. However, if you have the free graphics program GIMP, you can convert photos into painted portraits yourself.
