How to Flirt With a Girl on a Date

Flirting can be fun.

So, you have a date with a special girl and are really looking forward to it. You undoubtedly hope that the date ends with her thinking that you are witty and charming -- and wish, most of all -- that you both have a good time. If you are drawn to her, it could not hurt to try a little flirting while you are on your date. Flirting sends a signal that says "I am interested in you" and when you learn how to flirt with a girl on a date, it can be a lot of fun.

1. 

   Roses are always a good choice.

   Greet your date with a bouquet of flowers, or even a single flower -- setting the tone of the date with romantic interest and an element of surprise -- which most girls love. Go to the florist department of any grocery store for a good price on flowers and watch her face light up when you present your date with this thoughtful gesture.

2. 

   Smile into her eyes.

   Smile with your eyes when you are on your date -- which simply means that you should let your interest in her shine through your eye contact with her. Your eyes should look at her when she speaks while a genuine smile on your face shows her that you are interested in what she has to say.

3. Create some physical gestures that show your flirty side. Hold her elbow briefly as you guide her to your car or along a sidewalk. Reach out and move a tendril of hair from her face and compliment her on her hair color or hair style.

4. Speak in a voice that is neither too boisterous, nor too soft. Lean in close to her to share conversation, with your heads almost touching.

5. 

   Sit close to each other.

   Scoot your chair next to hers so that you can be closer to each other and --only if she welcomes it -- gently rub her back in a circular motion with the hand nearest to her for no more than 1 minute.

6. 

   The shoulder move.

   Drape your arm lightly over the back of her seat and gently run your fingertips along the top of her shoulder in 10 to 20 second intervals for no more than 1 minute -- or hold her hand for a timeless, yet intimate, gesture.

7. Show confidence in yourself by speaking positively of your accomplishments, without bragging of course, and casually mention things you have done that demonstrate your leadership skills and future aspirations or goals. Ask your date what her aspirations or goals are as well, and you may be on your way to a discussion that will illuminate your shared passions, leading to actual passion -- for each other.

• If your date protests to any of your advances or gestures - immediately cease and apologize profusely.
