How to Turn Off Comment Moderation Email in WordPress

WordPress blogs are configured by default to moderate comments that meet certain conditions that commonly indicate a comment is spam. Moderated comments are not displayed unless you approve the comment for publication. When a comment is moderated, a message is automatically sent to your email address, alerting you that the comment needs to be moderated. You can turn off the comment moderation email alert from the WordPress administrative panel.

Instructions

1. Log in to your WordPress blog.

2. Expand the "Settings" menu and then click "Discussion."

3. Uncheck the box beside "E-Mail Me Whenever a Comment Is Held for Moderation" and then click the "Save Changes" button.
