Paint all of the cabinets and drawers a new color. This is one of the most inexpensive ways you can remodel a kitchen. Wooden doors can be stained a different color or simply painted over in a funky, vibrant color. Alternatively you can create a wood effect on your white kitchen cabinets. This can be done with two different glaze coats and a wood graining tool available from the hardware store.
