How to Protect a Password in Mozilla Firefox
With your permission, Mozilla Firefox conveniently remembers usernames and passwords to websites you frequent. This saves you time in the future, but it poses a security risk. If you share your computer with other users, they could retrieve your passwords from Firefox. To protect your passwords, Firefox allows you to set up a master password, which is requested when you need to access the password information contained in your profile.
