How to Insert Bullets in WordPerfect


Bullet points within a document create a powerful communications tool that draws the reader's attention to specific information. WordPerfect, Corel's word processing program, allows you to insert bullet points into your document and to select their style and appearance. Create a list, make observations or simply make certain details stand out by inserting bullet points into your WordPerfect document. You can use both preinstalled and online bullet points.

  • Open a document in WordPerfect.

  • Click "Insert" from the top of the screen and select "Outline/Bullets and Numbering" to open the Bullets and Numbering dialog box.

  • Scroll down to review and select the desired bullet point style.

  • Type the information you want to bullet within your document. Press the "Enter" key to start the next bulleted line. Repeat this process for all text you want to align with a bullet point.

  • Press the "Backspace" key once after pressing "Enter" the last time. This removes the extra bullet point and returns the document to standard formatting.
