How to Create Serving Platters With Tin Foil
Make serving trays with tinfoil to ensure there are enough trays for all of the items being served at a party. The disposable trays also work well for occasions when using more expensive trays is not an option, such as at a kid's birthday party or far away destinations. Cut the cardboard to the size that you need. Cut the cardboard in shapes to match the theme of the party, such as hearts for Valentine's Day or shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day.

Cover the cardboard with tin foil. Be careful not to crinkle the tin foil too much.

Tape the aluminum foil to the bottom of the cardboard with tape.

Arrange food on the platter and then cover with additional tin foil.
