How to Know Your PIN Number for a Boost BlackBerry

A BlackBerry PIN is an important security feature.

Every Boost BlackBerry is assigned a unique, factory-generated personal identification number or PIN. Knowing your PIN is important if you want to send sensitive information in a PIN-to-PIN message, use BlackBerry Messenger or set up email on your phone. The PIN is comprised of eight characters and is locked into the phone. Your PIN is printed under the battery on the Boost BlackBerry, but you can find the PIN without going to the trouble of removing the battery cover and battery.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" key on your Boost BlackBerry to view the phone's expanded home screen.

2. Click "Options" and select "Device Options."

3. Scroll down and click "Status."

4. Scroll down to view the Boost BlackBerry's PIN number. Press the "End" key to exit to the phone's home screen.
