You can take a screenshot of your entire screen, or you can take a screenshot of a specific program or window.

Hold down the "Fn" key in the lower-left corner of the HP notebook.

Press the "Insert" key in the upper-right corner of the keyboard. On the lower half of the "Insert" key, the words "Prt Sc," "Prt Scn" or "Prnt Scn" appear inside of a box. You have to press the "Fn" key to access the commands on the lower half of the keys along the top row of a computer.

Release the keyboard keys. The screenshot is copied to the computer's clipboard and can be pasted into most word processing applications, such as Paint or Microsoft Word, and then saved.
