How to Flip a Computer Screen Upside Down for Windows XP

The Windows XP operating system was designed to allow users to connect a second monitor to their systems for a mirrored display or extended desktop. If using a HDTV or a monitor with a 16:9 display as a display for advertisements or information, you may wish to flip the display to accommodate for design or space limitations. Windows XP allows you to flip the display 90, 180 and 270 degrees to accommodate any orientation of your display.

  • Press and hold the "Ctrl" and "Alt" buttons on your keyboard.

  • Press the "Up" arrow to rotate the screen 180 degrees.

  • Release the "Ctrl and "Alt" buttons.
