How to Get Into ITT Tech

ITT Tech is a for-profit institution of higher education that offers associate's or bachelor's degrees within its five schools. These schools include the Schools of Information Technology, Drafting and Design, Criminal Justice, Electronics Technology as well as Business and Health Sciences. Graduates of the institution may go on to pursue other degrees, take a break between work and school, or secure employment. To gain acceptance into one of ITT Tech's 100 campuses, follow their stated guidelines.

  • Earn a high school diploma or G.E.D. You can complete all of your credits at your high school or enroll in a G.E.D. program. You will need a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0, which is a C-average.

  • Take a college-entrance exam. You may take ITT Tech's own entrance exam, the ACT or the SAT. ITT Tech does not provide minimum test score requirements for acceptance into a program.

  • Complete the online application for admission into the program. Simply click the "Admissions Info" link on the ITT website and click "Apply Now." You will need to provide information like your name, address and name of your high school.

  • Arrange a meeting with an ITT Tech representative. He or she will help you determine the best program for you and assist with completing your enrollment.

  • Go on a campus tour of the location you'd most like to attend. Ask questions about financial aid, student population, academic support programs and student activities while on your visit.

  • Pay the admission fee to complete your application process.
