"Saint's Row 2" is the sequel to the open world, third-person shooter from Volition software. The game was ported from the console versions to the PC, and even players with high end hardware, running the game at the lowest detail settings, reported serious performance issues. Many users reported a frame rate of only 15 frames per second. The issue was deemed by Volition to be a result of the graphics optimization for the PC version, and a patch was released that replaced that code. The acceleration hardware was able to properly render the graphics, greatly improving the smoothness of the animation.
