How to Make Twitter Updates on Facebook

Twitter and Facebook are both popular social networking websites. Although they have slightly different purposes, Twitter's short posts, known as "tweets," are similar to Facebook status updates as they tell others what you are thinking or doing in short format. Therefore, you may want to post your Twitter updates to Facebook or use Twitter to update Facebook so that you are not constantly posting the same content to both websites. You can do this by connecting your Facebook and Twitter accounts with the Twitter application for Facebook.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the "Twitter for Facebook" page on Twitter.

2. Click the "Install Twitter on Facebook" button.

3. Log into Facebook, if prompted. Type your Twitter name and password into the Twitter app, and click "Allow" to connect your accounts.

4. Click to add a check mark next to the "Facebook Profile" option to allow Twitter to post to your page, if it does not automatically appear. A loading icon will appear next to this icon; you do not have to press any other buttons. Now, whenever you update Twitter, it will also update your Facebook status.
