How to Export a Template Into Blogspot thumbnail
Exporting a custom template in Blogger will personalize your blog.

Blogspot offers you many pre-made templates, but that does not mean you have to follow the status quo and use the templates that everyone else is using. Blogspot allows anyone with enough knowledge in programming Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create templates for its blogging platform. If you have designed your own template or downloaded one of the many free Blogspot templates available on the Internet, you can use the tools in Blogspot's dashboard to export your template into Blogspot.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the "Settings" button under the blog you want to edit in Blogger's dashboard.

    • 2

Click the "Design" tab in the next window that pops up, then click "Edit HTML."

    • 3

Click the "Chose File" button below "Backup / Restore Template." Navigate to your template on your hard drive and double-click it. Click "Upload."

    • 4

Click "Save Template" at the bottom of the screen.
