How to Hook Up a Wireless G Router With a PlayStation 3
The original PlayStation was only capable of playing PS1 games and did not have internet capability. As online gaming and DVDs became prevalent, the developers at Sony needed to design a specialized PlayStation dashboard that enabled users to switch between games or DVDs, log online and adjust the component's settings. On the PS3, this dashboard includes a wireless router connection wizard that searches for and connects your PS3 to wireless G and N routers.
