1
Set your jasmine in a place where temperatures do not exceed 65 degrees F during winter. Ensure the plant receives bright, but indirect sunlight.
-
2
Run a humidifier near the jasmine to keep it from drying out. Set the plant on a tray filled with pebbles. Add water to the tray until it just comes to the top of the pebbles. The plant will absorb moisture this way too.

3
Water only when the top layer of soil is dry. Do not overwater or leave jasmine sitting in soggy soil.
-
4
Place the plant outdoors once the danger of frost has passed. Start it in a place with part sun and gradually move it to a place where it can get six hours of direct light per day.
-
5
Stop pruning the plant by the beginning of August, so next year's buds can form.
-
6
Ensure the plant experiences four or five weeks of nighttime temperatures between 40 and 50 degrees F in the autumn. Don't expose the plant to any light source at night during this period. Bring the plant back indoors before the first frost.
