How to Kill Harpie Bugs on "RuneScape"
To train the Slayer skill in the online game "RuneScape," you must kill monsters assigned by Slayer masters. Each time you kill a Slayer monster, you receive Slayer experience as well as combat experience. Slayer masters Vannaka and Chaeldar assign Harpie Bugs as a task, requiring you to kill from 60 to 170 for your assignment. Most slayer monsters require you to have a special skill, Slayer level or use a special item to kill them. Harpie bugs require you to have Level 33 Slayer and a Bug Lantern.

Travel to a Slayer master and purchase an Unlit Bug Lantern for 130 gold. Alternatively, purchase one from the Grand Exchange.

Use a Tinderbox on the Unlit Bug Lantern. Your character will light the lantern.

Equip a weapon, armour and the Bug Lantern.

Travel to Karamja and walk south toward Tai-Bwo-Wannai.

Walk to the Musician and then east along the beach until you reach the Harpie Bugs.

Click a Harpie Bug to attack. Harpie Bugs are 46 combat level and have 250 Life Points.
