How to Connect an HP Presario CQ50 to a TV
The Hewlett-Packard Presario CQ50 manufactured by Compaq is a laptop computer with a 15.4-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen. The Presario CQ50 offers two types of connections for hooking up an external monitor or TV. Use VGA (Video Graphics Array) to hook up older tube-type monitors and TVs. For High-Definition Television (HDTV), use the High-Definition Media Interface (HDMI) jack. Both cable types are available at electronics and computer stores. The connection takes less than a minute.
