Learn to play with SoftPlay books that are safe for children.

3-D SoftPlay books provide children with a safe and educational way to exercise their imaginations and learn to read. Children can act out stories with 3-D figures that stick to specially designed pages. There are no sharp or hard edges to the books and the figures are designed so that children can't swallow them. SoftPlay books come in a variety of stories, from Noah's Ark to Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Instructions

    • 1

Separate the felt figures, the centerfold play scene and the SoftPlay book from the package and organize the figures into similar categories.

    • 2

Read the first page of the SoftPlay book and place the felt figures on the centerfold play scene to act out the scene. The figures stick to the centerfold display.

    • 3

Turn to the next page of the book and encourage your child to create a picture of the next scene of the story by once again placing the felt figures on the page.

    • 4

Complete the book by reading every page and acting out the scenes with the felt figures.

Tips & Warnings

  • To avoid losing the figures to the book, make sure you keep the book and the figures in a small, portable bag.

  • Create your own story with the figures. SoftPlay books can be used over and over again to enhance your imagination. Encourage your child to perform her story with the figures.
