How to Add Facebook Chat to Pidgin
Pidgin is a chat client that supports multiple chat protocols, including the Facebook Chat protocol. Pidgin is a cross-platform client and can be installed on the Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems. You can use the client to instant message friends on Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo, and other IM protocols from a single program. Using the Pidgin software to connect to Facebook chat allows you to instant message (IM) your Facebook friends without having the Facebook Web page open.
