How to Bid on Multiple eBay Items at Same Time

Keep track of multiple eBay items through the "My eBay" page.

eBay is currently the largest online auction site in the world, with over 94 million active users worldwide. eBay users list their new or used items as an auction that other users can place virtual bids based on how much they want to pay for the item. The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the item and will receive it after paying the seller. You can also bid on multiple items at the same time. eBay features a "My eBay" page which will display all of the items you are currently bidding on.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser and visit ebay.com

2. Log into your eBay account by clicking the "Sign In" link. If you do not have an eBay account, you will need to register for one to bid on any auctions. Click on the "Register" link to create a new account.

3. Search for an item you want to bid on in the search box at the top of any eBay page.

4. Click on the item you want to try to purchase. Enter the amount you want to bid in the space beside the heading "Your Max Bid."

5. Click on the blue "Place Bid" button and follow the steps that appear to confirm your bid.

6. Search for another eBay item where you want to place a bid. Repeat steps four and five.

7. Click on the "My eBay" tab at the top of any page on the eBay web site to see the items you are trying to win. Items that you have the highest bid on will appear in a green font, while items you have been outbid on will appear in a red font.

Tips & Warnings

• Pay attention to the time of your auction. Most eBay auctions are won in the last remaining minutes or seconds of the auction time, so it is always best to keep an eye on your bids right at the end of the auction.
