How to Find the Crossbows and Give Them to a Gang on "RuneScape"
The Phoenix Crossbows are quest items required to complete the Shield Of Arrav quest in the massively multi-player online role-playing game "RuneScape." The quest involves joining one of two gangs and completing a task for them. You can only join one gang, but the quest requires the reward from both tasks. You must therefore team up with a friend or ally to complete the quest. On joining the Phoenix Gang, your ally will receive a key that you will need to get the crossbows.

Starting the Quest

Travel to Varrock. Speak to Reldo in the Varrock Castle library and ask if he has any quests.

Click to search the bookcase that has a distinctive blue book. Click the book to read it.

Talk to Reldo again. Ask where you can find the Phoenix Gang. He will tell you to talk to Baraek.

Go to the fur stall in the market. Talk to Baraek and ask where you can find the Phoenix Gang. Give him 20gp for the information.

Check the alleys near the southern entrance to Varrock. When you find Charlie the Tramp, ask him if there is anything down the alleyway. When he tells you about the Black Arm Gang, ask if they would let you join. He will tell you to speak to Katrine.

Walk down the alley and enter the house at the end. Talk to Katrine. Tell her that you know about the hideout and you would rather not reveal your sources. Tell her you want to join the gang and ask her to try you out. She will ask you to steal the Phoenix Crossbows from the Phoenix Gang.

Meet your ally outside and accept the Weapons Store key.

Go to the building marked Weapons Storage on the map. Open the door with the key and climb up the ladder.

Kill the Weaponsmaster and pick up the Phoenix Crossbows.

Return to Katrine. Talk to her and select the option to give her the crossbows.
