How to Get Sound From a Laptop to a Sound System

Although capable of reproducing music and other sounds, the speakers found inside a typical laptop may not produce enough power or have a large enough frequency response to satisfy the ears of some. Fortunately, laptop owners may have the option of connecting the computer to an external sound system. Connecting a laptop to a compatible sound system is an easy task, when using the correct audio cables.
