How to Increase the Size of a Webpage

Sometimes, people who suffer from poor visibility can find it difficult to see some of the text and images displayed on a Web page. This can often make maneuverability around different sites very difficult. To solve this problem, you can increase the size of the Web page so that the text is much larger and easier to read.

Instructions

  1. Internet Explorer

      Double-click on the Internet browser icon on your desktop.

      Locate the "View" option from the toolbar at the top of the browser window. Click on it once.

      Select the "Text Size" option from the View drop-down menu.

      Choose either the "Larger" or "Largest" options to increase the size of the text on the page.

      Click "OK" once to confirm the changes.

    Mozilla Firefox

      Click on the Mozilla Firefox icon to open the browser.

      Click on "Tools" on the toolbar and select "Options."

      Select the "Content" tab which is the third tab on the Options window.

      Locate the "Fonts and Colors" section. Click on the drop-down menu next to "Size."

      Select the text size you want up to a maximum size of "72." Click on the "OK" button to save the changes.

    Google Chrome

      Click on the Google Chrome icon to open the browser.

      Click on the "Customize and Control Google Chrome" button on the top-right hand corner of the browser.

      Select "Options" from the drop-down menu. The options screen will open in a new tab.

      Select the "Under the Hood" tab on the left side menu bar.

      Click on the drop-down menu next to "Font Size." Choose the font you would like from the list. Close the browser tab to confirm the changes.
