How to Apply a Master to a Page in PowerPoint 2003
PowerPoint 2003 comes with slide, note and handout masters. Slide masters work in the background of a design template, defining your slide's design. They carry a slide's placeholders, header and footer information, background image, color scheme and font styles. When you create slides in PowerPoint 2003, the slide master's layout is applied to all the slides by default. You'll need a separate slide master to apply its design to a specific page in PowerPoint.
