How to Paint Your Face Like a Skull
A skull face painting design finishes a Grim Reaper or skeleton costume nicely. This spooky black and white face is basic and quick to paint and looks strikingly eerie. Because of the simplicity of the skull face painting design, you can paint the design on your own face as long as you have a steady hand, the proper face painting supplies, and a mirror. Look in a mirror as you paint in order to see what you are doing. Load a face-painting sponge with white water-based face paint by dipping the edge of the sponge in water and then rotating it in paint. Paint your entire face white.

Load a soft-bristled wide brush with black paint by dipping the sponge in water then rotating it in paint. Paint black circles around and over your eyes. Close one eye and look with the other eye as you paint.

3
Paint a line under the cheek bone to the edge of your chin, then paint downward to the bottom of the chin. Fill in the outlined space down to the jawline on both sides of your face with black paint. This will make your chin appear thinner than it actually is.
-
4
Paint a thin, black, pointed triangle going a little ways up the bridge of the nose.
-
5
Paint the inside half of the top and bottom lip black, making your lips look thinner than they actually are.
-
6
Using the thin part of the wide brush, holding it vertically, flick lines outward to make thin lines coming out from all around the lips. This forms the teeth of the skull. The skull's teeth should look sharp and irregular. Do this by making the lines sharp and irregular and slanting out in all directions
