How Do I Download Just a Few Pictures From My Disc to Picasa?

When you import photographs from a disc into Picasa, the available photographs to import are displayed in the main gallery window. While all of these photographs are selected by default, you can choose to import a few of the images instead. This is particularly useful if a number of the photographs are not worth importing or you are short of disk space.

Instructions

1. Double-click the "Picasa" icon on your desktop or open it from the "Start" menu.

2. Insert the photo CD into your computer and click "Import" within Picasa. Click the "Import from" list and select "CD."

3. Choose your destination folder for the photos to be saved to.

4. Hold "Ctrl" and click each image that you want to import.

5. Click "Import Selected" to import them from CD.
