Download Microsoft Office's grid paper template into a Microsoft Word document.

Did you run out of graph paper? If you did and you do not have time to stop by your local office supply store, then you can print your own grid paper if you have a computer and a printer. Microsoft Office provides gridded graphing paper templates that you can download in a few minutes. The grid paper opens into a Microsoft Word document, which you then can print in multiples until you can resupply your stock.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit Microsoft Office's graph paper template page (see Resources).

    • 2

      Click the green "Download" button.

    • 3

Click the "Accept" button to accept Microsoft's terms of agreement. Note that cookies must be enabled on your computer in order to download the grid paper.

    • 4

Click the gray "Download" button. The file will download. When the download screen appears, click "Save File" followed by "OK."

    • 5

Open the folder where the file saved. Double-click the grid paper file to open it.

    • 6

Press Control + P to print your grid paper.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sometimes compressed files open in the zip file program WinZip instead of opening in Microsoft Word. If this happens, you can extract the file through WinZip by following the directed commands of the WinZip program.
