How to Save a File in EPS Format in Photoshop

The EPS format is one of the many different file types you can use to save a project in Adobe Photoshop. However, it is not the format that Photoshop uses by default. If you want to save a particular image or project that you're working on in the EPS file format you must do so in a very specific way to make sure that all of your hard work is exported properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "File" at the top of Photoshop.

    • 2

      Select the "Save As" option.

    • 3

Scroll through the box labeled "Format" on screen until you see the listing for "Photoshop EPS." Click once on "Photoshop EPS."

    • 4

Check all of the options listed on screen that you want to save along with your file. Each option is accompanied by a description of that option.

    • 5

Click "OK" to save your file in the EPS format.
