How to Rubber Stamp Wine Gift Tags
Wine gift tags add a festive touch to bottles and provide a way for the giver to display a holiday greeting, while labeling the item. These gift tags traditionally fit over the neck of the bottle and extend down the length of the front, and are usually made from paper or cardboard. Decorating your wine gift tags with rubber stamps gives you a customized control of its appearance.

1
Place the gift tags on a flat surface in front of you. Put a piece of scrap paper underneath if you're concerned about ink potentially staining the surface.
-
2
Select the ink pad colors and rubber stamps of your choice. Use wine-related stamps to relate directly to the gift or holiday stamps to showcase the festivities of the season. Use ink colors that match the wine bottle's label for continuity.

3
Press the stamp into the ink color, applying proper pressure to completely cover the lines. Re-cover with ink and press onto the wine gift tag. Apply one stamp to all the gift tags, recovering with ink as necessary, before moving on to the next stamp.
-
4
Repeat the process with the number of stamps you plan to apply to the tag. Allow two minutes of drying time between each one to prevent color blending, if stamping on top of one another.
