How to Transfer Movable Type to WordPress
Movable Type and WordPress are both Web-based blogging platforms, available to users who host their blogs on either service's site for free on their own domains. Although several differences in form and function exist between the two platforms, it's possible to transfer your Movable Type blog to WordPress with a minimal or even nonexistent effect on how the posts display once you transfer them. Download your blog export file from Movable Type and import it into WordPress with just a few clicks.
