How to Prevent Access to Games in Group Policy

You can prevent users from accessing games to reduce the use of network resources and avoid security breaches from unauthorized or infected games from the Web. The Group Policy Editor utility lets system administrators control a range of permissions and restrictions in Windows operating systems. You can prevent access to any software through the Group Policy by configuring the snap-in value that corresponds to the function you desire. Restrictions can be placed by creating additional rules within the Software Restriction Policies section.
