How to Draw the "Family Guy" Evil Monkey
Fans of the animated television series "Family Guy" are, no doubt, familiar with the Evil Monkey. Although most of the show's characters think the monkey is imaginary, the cartoon simian makes occasional unexpected visits to torment Chris, the son of the Family Guy himself, Peter Griffin. You can torment your friends by drawing the Evil Monkey in unexpected places, lying in wait to surprise and delight.

1
Draw a rectangle 1 1/2 inches high and 1 inch wide as a guideline for the monkey's body. It should tilt slightly to the left.
-
2
Draw a 1 1/4 inch circle at the top of the rectangle as a guideline for the head. Draw the 3/8-inch wide nose 1/2 inch down from the top of the head. Draw 3/8-inch circles for eyes just above the nose. Draw a line across the bottom third of each eyeball for the lower eyelids. Draw a dot for irises tucked into the right corner above each eyelid. Draw a rounded "M"-shaped curve above the eyes for an angry brow.
-
-
3
Draw a 1 1/4-inch long by 1/2-inch tall oval for the mouth. The upper lip should snarl with a rounded "M"-shaped curve, and each side of the mouth should stretch downward to complete the grimace. Add a horizontal zigzag within the mouth for sharp, clenched teeth. Add 1/4-inch cup-shaped ears at each side of the head tucked behind the grimace.
-
4
Draw an inverted "U" shape 3/4-inch high at each side of the rectangle's base. These are the monkey's bent legs as he sits on his haunches. Draw 1-inch long ovals for feet at the bottom of each leg. Divide the tips of each foot into three toes.
-
5
Draw a 1/2-inch tube for an arm curving from the shoulder at the top left side of the body rectangle down 1 3/4 inches to the ground. Draw another 1/2-inch tube from the shoulder at the right extending 1 inch straight out to the right. Extend the top of the arm line with a 3/8-inch tube for the pointing index finger. Add a 3/4-inch circle as a guideline for the hand at the end of the arm below the index finger. Draw the bent thumb and two curled fingers within the hand guideline.
-
6
Draw a 1/8-inch thick, 1 1/2-inch long "S"-shaped tube rising from the monkey's rear end for the tail. Draw in the final lines with ragged edges for the fur. Erase the guidelines.
-
7
Color the face, ears, chest, hands and feet a light, fleshy pink with a colored marker, if desired. Color the arms, legs, tail and the top of the head a furry, medium brown.
