How to Get Followers on Blogspot
Blogspot is a blogging tool through Google that allows users to publish their writing on the Internet. Some people use blogs to keep far-away family members updated on what is going on in their lives. Others use them to make money by posting about things other people are interested in, such as good deals or travel information. Yet others use them as a source of entertainment for others. Regardless of the purpose, a blogger needs followers to serve the purpose of the blog.

1
Make a post regarding your follower widget on the right side of the screen in a Blogspot blog. Some users do not look at the items along the side of your blog and might miss the widget that allows them to follow your blog. A post can help point them in the right direction.

2
Promote your blog anywhere you can. Copy your blog link and post it everywhere you can think of, such as on social networking sites, online bulletin boards and in your email signature. When you promote your blog, let people know what it is all about.

3
Follow up with those who visit your blog. If you have your Blogspot blog set up to track viewers, send a message to each user thanking her for viewing your blog. If your readers also have blogs, visit theirs and follow them.
-
4
Use content that is fresh and of good quality. If you only write a new blog post once a month, you are less likely to have followers than if you write daily or even once a week. Make sure your topics are interesting and capable of holding someone else's interest.
-
5
Keep promoting your Blogspot blog. If you stop posting about it other places, your rate of new followers will decline. The more you promote, the more followers you will gain.
