Instructions

    • 1

Measure two sheets of brown fabric that are long enough to cover your body from the shoulders to the knees. This can be any solid fabric material that's not see-through, including cotton or polyester.

    • 2

Lay the fabric pieces on top of each other on a flat surface. Cut a half-circle large enough to fit your head through at one end of the fabric. Snip a zigzag pattern across the top and bottom of the fabrics to look like the edges of a Snickers wrapper.

    • 3

Sew a hem across the top to attach the fabrics. Leave the center hole open so you can put the costume over your head. Use a needle and thread or sewing machine to connect the side pieces of the costume, too, leaving a hole on either side for your arms to go through.

    • 4

Create the logo of the Snickers costume by cutting a long strip of white material that's large enough to cover most of the front of the costume. This can be any fabric, although felt will be an easy material to work with. Make a border for this shape with red fabric. Using blue material, trace and cut out the Snickers logo's letters, ensuring that they'll be able to fit snugly in the white shape.

    • 5

Attach the logo together using fabric glue or an iron-on fusing paper. Sew or glue the entire logo onto the front of the brown costume. To wear the completed costume, slip it over your head and place your arms through the side holes.

Tips & Warnings

  • For added accessories to your Snickers costume, bring along a bag of the bit-size treats to hand out to anyone who compliments your homemade costume.
