How to Set Up Marshall JMD1 Foot Controllers

The Marshall JMD:1 is a series of tube-powered amplifiers that include digital on-board effects, allowing you to create a variety of tones and sounds. The JMD:1 is available as both a stand-alone head, or as a combo, which includes Eminence AX75 speakers. Both the stand-alone and combo versions of the JMD:1 have a variety of controls on the face of the amplifier, and both allow you to connect a foot controller for mid-song channel switching. The foot controller allows for two modes of operation: switch store and preset store. When using switch store, the foot controller buttons each individually operate a preset button on the front of the amplifier, such as delay, modulation or tap tempo. When using preset store, the foot controller allows you to switch to any of the 28 programmed preset channel configurations.
