How to Write a Letter to the Mets & Get Pictures
The New York Mets are a professional baseball team in the major leagues, and many people would consider themselves very big fans of the club. You may be interested in requesting special memorabilia directly from the Mets, such as pictures of the team or stadium. You may need to send payment or other information before you can receive the pictures, but the Mets have a simple process set up for writing and sending out the initial request letter.

Add the date you plan to send the letter to the Mets to the top of the page.

Type the address at the top of the letter under the date. You are writing to "New York Mets, Citi Field," and the address is "Roosevelt Avenue, Flushing, New York, 11368."

Put a subject line on the letter. For example, your subject might read, "Subject: Request for Team Photo."

Explain your request in detail in the body of the letter. Let the Mets know exactly what type of pictures you're looking for and how much you're willing to pay to receive them. Be sure to specify if you want the photos autographed, and by whom.

Thank the team and politely for either the pictures or information about getting them.
