How to Sync a Universal Dish TV Remote to Dynex

Dish Network is a satellite television company, providing customers with an alternative to their local cable company. To receive Dish Network service, a satellite dish must be installed at your home that provides a signal to the satellite boxes provided by the company. The satellite boxes include a universal remote, that, in addition to controlling the satellite box, can also be programmed to control certain elements of many television models, including Dynex. Prior to operating your Dynex television using your Dish Network remote control, you must program the remote.

  • Press the "Power" button on the Dynex remote to turn on the television.

  • Press and hold the "TV" button on the Dish Network remote. Release the "TV" button when all of the other mode buttons illuminate.

  • Press the blank button located below the word "Power" on the Dish Network remote control.

  • Press the "Up" arrow repeatedly while aiming the remote at the television. Do not press the button too quickly to avoid accidentally passing the code.

  • Press the "#" button when the Dynex television turns off to store the code in the remote.
