How to Uninstall Band-in-a-Box

The instruments that Band-in-a-Box arranges include piano, guitar, bass, drums and horn. But with so many music-arranging software products available, users may realize that Band-in-a-Box is not suitable for their needs or does not work as easily as they would like. Removing an unwanted software program from the computer gives the hard drive more space. Uninstalling Band-in-a-Box requires only a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" menu on desktop and select "Control Panel."

2. Click "Programs and then "Uninstall a Program" for Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.

3. Search the list of available programs for "Band-in-a-Box." Click the program.

4. Click "Uninstall" for Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. A confirmation window will open.

5. Confirm removal by clicking "Yes." A new window will open titled "Uninstalling." The window closes when the uninstall is complete.

6. Restart your computer.
