How to Tint Liquid Sculpey
Liquid Sculpey can be used in a similar fashion to the basic Sculpey polymer clay. Its liquid consistency, however, makes it more adaptable to molds and thin, flat custom pieces. Liquid Sculpey comes in a clear liquid, so the artist can customize the color to specific needs. Oil paints give the Liquid Sculpey a shiny glaze appearance while pigments and mica powders produce a less shiny --- but bold --- color.

Tips & Warnings
Powdered dyes will thicken Liquid Sculpey.
If the color becomes to bold, add more Liquid Sculpey --- a drop or two at a time --- and stir until it lightens to your desired color.
Do not use acrylic paints to add color to Liquid Sculpey as the color may fade during the curing process.
