How to Attach a Signature to Gmail
Attaching a signature to your outgoing Gmail messages gives them a personalized touch. Signatures include contact information, disclaimers or your favorite quotes. Changing your settings to include a signature saves you the time of having to type the text each time you send an email message. The signature is attached to the bottom of each outgoing email and is separated from your email message by dashes.
