How Can I Get a Copy of My Eviction Notice in Hillsboro, Oregon?

Determine the details of the eviction to provide the court records office with information to retrieve the notice. You will need the approximate date, the property management company or the landlord's name and the the case number.

Retrieve the copy of the eviction notice by appearing in person at the Washington County Courthouse. Provide your name, the date of the original notice and/or the landlord or property management company's name.

Send a letter accompanied with a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Washington County Courts Record Department. Include the name of the property management or landlord and the date of the eviction in the letter. Indicate whether you need a certified copy of the eviction notice. Make the personal check payable to "State of Oregon" and leave the amount field blank. Copies are .25 cents per page. Certified copies are $5 per document as well as .25 cents per page of the document requested. Write "Not to exceed" on the bottom-left corner of the personal check as well as an approximate amount to cover the expected cost for the eviction notice. An example would be; "Not to exceed $5.50" in the case of a two-page, certified copy of the eviction notice.
