How to Make a Patchwork Hat on Webkinz
Some articles of clothing in Webkinz World cannot be purchased directly from the W-Shop. One example, the Patchwork Hat, is a colorful and floppy beanie-style hat. The Patchwork Hat is made in the KinzStyle Outlet Clothing Machine.

Log in to the Webkinz site with the pet owner's user name and password.

Click on the "Things to Do" tab and on "Map of KinzVille." Find and click on the "KinzStyle Outlet" building.

Click on the "Clothing Machine" button. Drag three inexpensive -- 20 KinzCash value or less -- clothing items from the dock to the three circles called "button slots." There are several clothing items which are made with a specific three item combination or recipe. To make the Patchwork Hat, do not use those other identified combinations, which can be found on the Webkinz Insider website.

Click on the large "Make It" button. The Clothing Machine begins to stitch and after a few seconds it displays the finished item.

Click on the "OK" button and the Patchwork Hat will be added to the dock.

Tips & Warnings
Not every item of clothing can be used in the Clothing Machine. Holiday, KinzStyle or Wheel of Wow clothing, for example, can not not be used with the Clothing Machine. It will only accept common, W-Shop clothing items. There are also clothing items to purchase in the KinzStyle Outlet.
Duplicate items cannot be used in the Clothing Machine. For example, two red belts can not be used in a recipe.
The Clothing Machine will also make a Patchwork Jacket and Patchwork Pants. A random combination of higher priced clothing items will more likely make the jacket or pants. Less expensive combinations generally make the hat.
There are several clothing recipes that have not been solved, so a Patchwork Hat can not be 100 percent guaranteed. For example, the Alpine Hat is a known Clothing Machine outcome, but the three items which make it are yet unknown.
