How to Get Domain Names With No Pay
If you own several websites, you know that registration fees for domains can quickly add up and number in the hundreds of dollars for just a few dozen websites. Fortunately, there are options for obtaining domain names free. Although it is not possible to get .com, .net, .org and most other types of domain names completely free, if you are not concerned about the letters following your domain name, get a domain for no pay with the co.cc extension.

Navigate to the co.cc website (see Resources).

Enter your desired domain name in the search box at the top of the page and select the yellow "Check Availability" button.

Click on the yellow "Continue to Registration" button that appears on the next page if the domain entered is available; if it is not available, click the back button on your browser and enter a different domain name.

Select the blue "Create an Account Now" button at the bottom of the registration page that appears, or log in to your account if you already have one.

Enter your name, email address, password and date of birth on the registration page. Click on the check box at the bottom of the page to indicate that you agree with the terms of service and select the "Continue" button.

Confirm your password on the next page, enter the symbols you see in the "CAPTCHA" form and select "Continue" to complete the registration process.

Log in to your account by entering the email address and password you used to register. Enter the symbols you see in the "CAPTCHA" form and click on the "Sign In" button to complete registration of your free domain.

Tips & Warnings
If you need free hosting instead and you don't care about having a domain that's a subdomain, such as "mywebsite.wordpress.com" or "mywebsite.blogspot.com," set up a free WordPress or Blogger account. If you don't already have your own hosting on which to host your free co.cc domain, consider instead purchasing a hosting plan that includes free domain registration.
The co.cc website does not provide hosting for your free domain. Pay co.cc to host your domain or host your co.cc domain with your existing hosting service, if you already have one, by updating your domain name servers in the co.cc account to point to your existing hosting service's name servers. Contact your hosting service to learn how to do this.
