Point to the exact spot you want to link to on the Web.

When you view your Twitter timeline, populated with posts, or tweets, from many users, you may not realize each individual tweet has its own location where it can be viewed on its own. If you want to send a link to that specific post, you first need to know where to find it. Fortunately, locating a single tweet and finding the address you need to create a link to help others find it is a quick and simple process.

Instructions

    • 1

Sign into your Twitter account if you are not already signed in, and find the tweet you want to share. The tweet might be located in your own timeline, or that of a user you follow. It could also be in the stream of a user you do not follow, but who has not restricted access to their account.

    • 2

Find the time stamp in the tweet. On the Twitter site and in most applications, this will be located at the bottom of the tweet.

    • 3

Click the time stamp and wait to be redirected to a new page, where you will see the tweet isolated from the rest of the timeline. Copy that page's address to create links back to that tweet.
