How to Shoot Arrows in "Demon's Souls"
"Demon's Souls," a role-playing game released for the PlayStation 3, features many of the standard medieval weapons found in role-playing games. Swords, axes, polearms and bows are all available to use in your quest to rid the world of evil. To use a bow in "Demon's Souls," you must have a supply of arrows. Both can be purchased from Blacksmith Boldwin in The Nexus. Once you have a bow and some arrows, you can shoot them at your enemies, allowing you to keep a safe distance from them.

Press "Start" to access the main menu.

Select the "Equipment" tab.

Press "X" on the equipment slot below the "Right Hand" icon. This icon is of a hand with a two on it. Select the bow from the list of weapons to equip it.

Press "X" on the equipment slot below the icon of a quiver of arrows. Select the arrows to equip them.

Press "Start" to exit the menu.

Press and hold "R2" to draw your bow.

Release "R2" to fire your bow.

Tips & Warnings
The arrow will travel in an arc. Aim over your enemy's head to compensate for this arc -- aiming directly at your enemy will cause the arrow to fall a few feet in front of him.
It is not advisable to use a bow and arrow at close range. Switch to a sword or other close range weapon when an enemy draws near.
