      Look directly below the Fender logo for an American Standard Strat to determine where the guitar was manufactured. The American Standard Strat will say "Made in the USA."

      Look for "Made in Mexico" on a Standard Strat below the word "Stratocaster" on the headstock. The guitar's serial number will be below the word "Fender" on the headstock.
