How to Enter a Web Address As Plain Text & Not a Hyperlink in Excel 2010
Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook or PowerPoint usually have the auto-correct option enabled by default. Wrong spellings are sometimes automatically corrected and websites automatically turn blue and become underlined, which means they've been turned into hyperlinks you can click to access the website. For Microsoft Excel 2010, the auto-correct options can be turned off in the "Proofing" menu. When this is turned off, website addresses entered in Excel 2010 become regular plain text and not hyperlinks.
